Weet-Bix Raluve Under 18 defending champion Dawasamu Secondary School is looking forward to a physical battle against Saint John’s College in round 3 of the Eastern Zone Secondary School Girls’ Under 18 competition this weekend.

Team Manager, Eseta Lawalawa says the girls know that Saint John’s College will be looking to take revenge this week after their loss last week and they are ready to counter whatever their opponent will be throwing at them.

Lawalawa says so far training has been going well for the team but not much competition since they will be playing only one team in the next two rounds. She says last week Wainibuka Secondary School and Tailevu North College withdrew from the Eastern Zone competition, so they are only left with two teams.

Dawasamu Secondary is currently undefeated after winning by default in the first round and thumping Saint John’s College 29-0 in round 2 last week.

Dawasamu Secondary School will take on Saint John’s College at 10am this Saturday at Nasau Park in Levuka.
