The Raluve U18 Dawasamu team

The hardship faced by the parents of the under 18 of Dawasamu Secondary School by selling their produce to raise funds to pay for the team's meals and games preparation has been a motivating factor for the team.

Team Manager Talica Cokanasiga highlighted this after their 19-3 win over Naitasiri Secondary School in the Weet-Bix Raluve under 18 competition semi final last weekend.

Cokanasiga says before the team played last week, the girls were reminded about the sacrifices their parents made for them through out the season and it really pushed them.

Dawasamu will face Mahatma Gandhi Memorial School in the Weet-Bix Raluve under 18 final this Saturday.

In the Raluve under-16 final, Sigatoka Methodist School will face Naitasiri Secondary School.

The Weet-Bix Raluve final will be held at the HFC Bank Stadium this Saturday.
