Daugunu ready to lead team at LA 7s

Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s captain, Tevita Daugunu says leading the team this weekend at the HSBC Los Angeles 7s will be a big task for him.

Dauqunu says he is thankful and honoured to be given the opportunity again, especially after spending time on rehab.

He says he is ready to take up the task with the assistance of the core group of senior players who will provide him with support.

Fiji will play Japan at 7.05am in their first pool match this Sunday, they will then take on Kenya at 10.18am before playing Australia at 2.05pm on Sunday.

The cup quarter finals will begin at 6.23am Monday, the cup semi finals will start at 10.14am Monday and the cup final will be at 1.28pm Monday.
