Businessman, Damend Gounder is the new Chair of the Fiji Development Bank board.

Permanent Secretary for Finance, Shiri Gounder has confirmed that other new appointments to the FDB board are Jagdish Singh and Ro Kiniviliame Kiliraki while the continuing members are Asilika Rogers and Maimuna Haniff.

The previous Chair of the board was Fiji Airways CEO and Managing Director, Andre Viljoen.

Other members who are no longer on the board are Wella Pillay, Rajesh Patel and Inia Naiyaga.
