Cuvu College & Sigatoka Methodist College lead Coca Cola Nadroga-Navosa Athletics Zone

Cuvu College is currently leading in the boy’s division while Sigatoka Methodist College leads the girl’s division in the Coca Cola Nadroga-Navosa Athletics Zone.

In the boy’s division, Cuvu College leads with 2 gold, 3 silver and 1 bronze while Thomas Baker Secondary School is second with 2 gold and 1 silver.

Sigatoka Methodist College is in third place with 2 gold and 1 bronze.

In the girl's division, Sigatoka Methodist College is leading with 4 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze, Thomas Baker Secondary School is second with 1 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze while Navosa Central College is third with 1 gold and 1 silver.

Navitalai Batiwale clocked the fastest time in the Senior Boys 100 metres heats with a time of 11.03 seconds and will be challenged by Sakeo Domolailai and Kelemudi Lagi of Sigatoka Methodist College.

Katarina Leiwasa of Nawai Secondary School ran the fastest time of 13.63 seconds in the Senior Girls 100 metres heats.

She will be challenged by Selita Taufa of Sigatoka Methodist College and Lelea Togakai of Nasikawa Vision College in the final this afternoon.

The Nadroga-Navosa Athletics Zone is currently underway at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka.
