Cook Islands Moana ready for Fiji Bulikula - Captain

By Mikaele Liga
24/10/2024

Cook Islands Moana Captain, Anneka Stephens, who is well known for her aggressive defensive efforts during her games, says they have seven debutants, and the team is optimistic they will put up a good performance against the Vodafone Fiji Bulikula in their first match.

Stephens, who was crowned the Sue Roberts Trophy Winner for 2024 and also took the NRL WA's Women’s Tackle Player Of The Year and Women’s Players Player award, says they have a good mix of both young and old players.

She says coming up against the Bulikula’s this week, she does not know what she is coming up against personally, but she knows the Bulikula’s have great depth in their team.

The Cook Islands Moana will play the Fiji Bulikula at 5pm this Saturday at the HFC Bank Stadium.
