The Consumer Council of Fiji remains committed to exploring new opportunities to create a more transparent and accountable consumer environment.

The CEO Seema Shandil says the past year has been one of challenges and triumphs, but most importantly, it has been a year of progress, growth and shared commitment to ensuring the rights of Fijian consumers are protected.

Shandil says Fijians voicing their concerns, participating in programs, or staying informed about their rights, has been a driving force for them.

She says they will continue to tackle challenges head-on, ensuring that consumers are protected, informed and equipped to make the best choices for themselves and their families.

The Council is encouraging people to prioritise sustainable living, plan to save money, beware of scams, invest in personal growth and support local business.

They say through these ideas we can make a difference in our economy.
