Labasa Town

Great news for people of Labasa as the town will start constructing its first fish market by the end of this year.

Labasa Town Special Administrator Vijay Chand says the new fish market will approximately cost $250,000 and will be located from across the Labasa market.

Chand says they are currently in the process of getting the title of the land.

He says the council will be using their own funds for this project and they aim to begin the construction later this year.
