The three complaints against Leader of the Opposition, Voreqe Bainimarama are now with the Police Criminal Investigations Department.
Chief of Intelligence and Investigations ACP Surend Sami says the complaints deal with statements made earlier this month.
Bainimarama is yet to be questioned.
ACP Sami says the same taskforce is handling the case and will be treating the reports on a case by case basis, and similarly they will not be pressured into rushing the investigation as the Director CID has been given full autonomy over the conduct of the investigation.
