While many are celebrating Fiji Day in their own ways across the country, the spirit of national pride and unity was on full display today in Davuilevu, where taxi drivers and members of the community came together to mark the occasion with a local parade.

Ajinesh Ram, a taxi driver at Adi Davila Taxis in Davuilevu, was among those taking part in the celebration.

Ram shares that the Fiji Day parade has become a long-standing tradition in their community, with this year marking over a decade since it first began.

Ram also took the opportunity to call for unity across the country, encouraging Fijians of all backgrounds to stand together in service to one another.
