Great news for the feline residents at the SPCA, as Clothes for Good, Fiji's first-ever not-for-profit pre-loved clothing store, has donated $1,000 to upgrade the shelter’s cat enclosure.

Founder Hayden Brown says that the donation will help modernize the facility and create additional space for many other cats under SPCA’s care.

Brown says every time someone shops at one of their stores in Nabua or Lami, they are not just buying clothing — they are contributing to vital funds for Fijian organisations in need.

He says the donation will be used to upgrade the cat enclosure and build an outdoor run, giving shelter cats a safe space to bask in the sun and enjoy fresh air.

Brown also praised SPCA for their incredible work despite limited resources.

The founder is also encouraging other businesses in Fiji to provide resources, money and material so that SPCA can continue their important work of desexing animals, performing life saving operations and finding stray animals a new home.
