Chinese government donates 47 military vehicles to the RFMF

Some of the the 47 vehicles that were donated by the Chinese government.

The Chinese government has donated 47 military vehicles to the Republic Fiji Military Forces.

The 47 vehicles includes three off-road ambulances and an off-road water tanker which will assist the RFMF during deployment.

While officiating at the handover Minister for Defence and National Security, Inia Seruiratu acknowledged the longstanding diplomatic relationship with China since 1975.

Chinese Ambassador to Fiji Qian Bo says the co-operation between the two nations contributes to the capacity building of the RFMF which is critical for natural disaster relief and humanitarian aid in the country which will be a role model for developing nations in the region.
