The Chinese Embassy in Fiji has today handed over $10,000 worth of equipment to the Ministry of Youth and Sports for distribution amongst the youth clubs in Fiji.

The Minister for Youth and Sports Laisenia Tuitubou while speaking at the handover ceremony has said that these equipments would be distributed evenly to all Divisions.

The Centers that will receive the donation include the Vakatora Youth Club, the Bozu Youth Club and the Lovu Hart Youth Club.

These equipment will help these clubs in their various projects such as the BBQ and Catering, Sound System Hire and Landscaping and Grass cutting project.

The Minister for Sports has also thanked the Chinese Government for their support towards the youth.

Tuitubou says the Ministry provides opportunities to the marginalised and disadvantaged youths through its non–formal education programs.
