Children at the Juvenile and Rehabilitation Centre need guidance and love to help them make better choices later in life.

Minister for Women, Children and Social Protection, Lynda Tabuya highlighted this during a Christmas Church Service at the Juvenile and Rehabilitation Centre.

Tabuya says normally we attend to our children at risk in our orphanages and homes, but we neglect our children in conflict with the law at the Juvenile and Rehabilitation Centre.

She says these children needs our support.

While presenting their Christmas gift, Tabuya says they are still children and will need support from their families.

The staff of the Juvenile and Rehabilitation Centre, families and friends joined the boys at the Centre for the Christmas church service that the Talatala Qase Manasa Saraqia led from the Suva Division of the Methodist Church in Fiji.

The staff of the Centre also provided live gospel music as the boys mingled and enjoyed their lunch with their families and friends.
