Children from the ages of 6 to 12 years old will now be able to get free music, painting, visual arts and dance classes on Saturdays at the Suva City Carnegie Library.

This is after the launching of the ARIS Programme today, which is a partnership between Alliance Francaise Language and Cultural Centre and the Suva City Carnegie Library.

Poetry Shop Fiji Founder and ARIS Project Coordinator, Peter Sipeli says classes will commence every Saturday from 10am.

Sipeli says this programme will benefit young artists to be more professional and to showcase their talent for the world to see.

He adds parents should make use of this opportunity since it is free as it will help their children in learning arts in a creative way.

The French Embassy has contributed $3,000 as an investment to this Art Programme.
