Emoni Narawa scored a try last night to help his Chiefs side thrash the Western Force 56-7 in Hamilton in the Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific.

The Chiefs were impressive in front of their home crowd.

The visitors were left scrambling with some excellent offloads and long passes from their back-line to their wingers.

Chiefs winger Daniel Rona was the biggest beneficiary of the Force's soft defense with an impressive hat-trick.

Discipline was a big problem, with the Force conceding seven unanswered penalties in the opening 25 minutes.

The Chiefs ran rampant late, scoring three tries in the last 11 minutes as the wheels fell off for the visitors.

McKenzie was in sparkling form, with his fancy footwork helping his teammates against the Force and creating the bulk of his side's attacking opportunities.

Bradley Slater, Tupou Vaa’i, Tyrone Thomson, and Josh Ioane all scored a try each to secure the win for the Chiefs.

In other results, the Highlanders defeated Moana Pasifika 28-17, the Reds beat the Crusaders 33-28 and the Brumbies defeated the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua 28-20.
