FIFA Club World Cup champions Chelsea sent out another strong statement in the English Premier League after thrashing West Ham United 5-1 this morning.
Lucas Paquetá gave West Ham a surprise lead in the 6th minute, but Chelsea quickly settled into rhythm with João Pedro equalising in the 15th minute before Pedro Neto put them ahead in the 23rd.
The Blues continued their dominance with goals from Enzo Fernández in the 34th, Moisés Caicedo in the 54th and Trevoh Chalobah in the 58th minute to seal a commanding win at Stamford Bridge.
With the victory, Chelsea leads the EPL table with 4 points.
Tottenham is also on 4 points but sits 4th on goal difference, while Manchester City and Sunderland follow closely behind on 3 points each.
