The victory comes after Chelsea won both legs of their Carabao Cup semi-final against Tottenham to set up a final against Liverpool.
In other matches this morning, Liverpool beat Crystal Palace 3-1, Arsenal and Burnley finished at 0-0 while Leicester and Brighton also drew the match at 1-1.
Manchester City is leading the EPL table with 57 points, Liverpool is second with 48 points while Chelsea, in third place has 47 points.
