The Fiji Labour Party Leader Mahendra Chaudhry says concerns about no toilet facilities for market vendors, poor farm road conditions and improper town access facilities for fishermen has been raised by people in Navua.

He says many people are selling their produce in Navua without any cover and there is no protection when it rains.

Chaudhry says many people have raised concerns regarding their livelihood in Navua.

He says farm roads in Navua are in poor condition and have not been maintained.

The FLP Leader says fishermen travelling from Beqa do not have a proper jetty facility.

He also says there are complaints about a very high cost of living and people want a change.

Chaudhry is asking the Ministers who have come and gone if they have seen the condition in which the people of Navua sell their produce.

We are trying to get the comments from Local Government Minister, Premila Kumar.
