As many Hindus celebrate Hanuman Jayanti today, Bhagti Gyan Ramayan Jansamuh Davuilevu President Abinash Chand is urging the youth to embrace their culture, cherish it, and let it guide them in the journey ahead as our culture is our strength and identity.

While speaking to fijivillage News, Chand says in the fast-paced world we live in, it's easy to get caught up in the latest trends and influences but amidst the whirlwind of change, let's not forget the roots from which we have grown.

He says our cultural heritage is a treasure trove of wisdom, traditions, and values that have stood the test of time and it is a part of who we are, shaping our identity and connecting us to our past, present, and future.

Chand says he understands that embracing our culture may sometimes feel like swimming against the tide of modernity but there is immense beauty and strength in honoring our traditions.

He says whether it is celebrating festivals, speaking our own language, or practicing age-old customs, each act is a thread that weaves us into the rich tapestry of our heritage.

The group President is urging the youth you to take pride in their roots, for they are the foundation upon which you stand and embrace the diversity of our culture, learn from its teachings, and let it be a source of inspiration and empowerment in your journey through life.

The 30-year-old says being modern does not mean abandoning our traditions but it means finding a balance between the old and the new, the past and the future.

Chand further says they have organised a function today to honour the birth Lord Hanuman today with prayers, rituals, and joyous gatherings.

He says as we commemorate Hanuman Jayanti, let us also reflect on the teachings of Lord Hanuman - his unwavering devotion to Lord Ram, his unparalleled strength, and his humility.

He adds may this Hanuman Jayanti inspire you to embrace truth, righteousness, and devotion in your lives and may the blessings of Lord Hanuman fill your hearts with joy, courage, and inner peace.
