Cause of three fires over the weekend yet to be established

Three fire incidents over the weekend are being investigated by the National Fire Authority and Police.

The cause of the fire in all three cases is yet to be established.

In the first case, a house along Kubukawa Road in Tovata was destroyed as the occupants were attending a church service.

Another house in Veisako in Nadera was destroyed in a fire on Saturday afternoon.

No one was injured in the incident.

Neighbours saw the fire start from the kitchen.

Authorities are also investigating the cause of the fire that destroyed three old vehicles in Vomo Street, Lautoka yesterday.

Firefighters managed to stop the fire from spreading to a nearby house.
