Car Mart Limited donated a tractor worth $50,000 to Korovuto College that will help the students explore the boundless potential that agriculture holds.

While officiating at the handover ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Professor Biman Prasad says there is a need for such contributors in the society as giving back to the society is a good example of a partnership that the coalition government wants to promote.

He says the government's job is to provide additional resources and support our school heads, teachers and the school management in doing their work together to bring the community together.

Professor Prasad says he believes that there are so many people outside of government who have the wisdom and knowledge as the government's job is to work with them and build partnerships throughout the country.

The Deputy Prime Minister says this is what the coalition government has done in the last 10 months as they want to give back the powers of the school management to the trustees, where it belongs.

The Minister also assured parents and students that the coalition government is focused on providing the best education to children throughout the country through their different initiatives.
