Fiji Water Flying Fijians playmaker Caleb Muntz says he’s optimistic, despite the short time the players have spent together, they are blending well, adapting to the team’s structure and understanding their roles for tomorrow’s match against the Wallabies.
Muntz shared his thoughts from Newcastle during a Zoom meeting with the media.
He says this positive transition has allowed the players to enjoy their training and they are looking forward to the game tomorrow.
Muntz says wearing the Fiji jersey holds a special place in his heart because the Fiji Rugby Union gave him a second chance at life in rugby.
The Flying Fijians will face the Wallabies at 3.30pm tomorrow at the Newcastle International Sports Centre.
They will then take on Scotland next Saturday at 3pm at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.
In other matches the All Blacks will host France at 7.05 tonight in Dunedin and Scotland will face Maori All Blacks at 3pm.
