The Cadet Passout Parade has made a proud return to Central College Lautoka after a 16-year break which aims to instil discipline, leadership and patriotism in Fiji’s youth.

While addressing the students, staff and parents, Minister for Education Aseri Radrodro commended the school and the wider community for their commitment in reviving the cadet program.

He also acknowledged the Republic of Fiji Military Forces for their role in training and mentoring the cadets over the past few weeks, and expressed gratitude to the parents, families and teachers for their support.

Radrodro has also commended Central College Lautoka for its strong academic and extracurricular performance, including a 96 percent pass rate in the 2024 national exams, success in national competitions, and the recent establishment of a school brass band.

Radrodro also reflected on how engaging with schools across the country is helping the Ministry shape policies focused on inclusivity, resilience, and educational excellence, central pillars of the Coalition Government's vision.
