SODELPA Leader and Deputy Prime Minister Viliame Gavoka

SODELPA MP Aseri Radrodro will continue in the role of Education Minister, and Ifereimi Vasu will remain as the Minister for iTaukei Affairs, as this was informed to SODELPA by the Prime Minister.

Party Leader Viliame Gavoka says the Prime Minister has written to them informing them that the cabinet reshuffle will not happen.

While speaking to the media after the SODELPA Management Board meeting at the Southern Cross Hotel in Suva, Gavoka says the appointment to the three missions that were promised to SODELPA under the coalition has been confirmed by the management board today.

He says during their management board meeting, Jovilisi Suwainakama has been confirmed as the new High Commissioner to the UK, Ro Ilisoni Vuidreketi will be the new US Ambassador based in Washington, and William Toganivalu is the new roving Ambassador of the Pacific.

Gavoka says all the appointments are subject to approval from the host country.

The SODELPA Leader also highlighted that the Prime Minister has assured them that consultation will be the way forward for the coalition.
