As women play a vital role in our homes and country, the Cabinet has approved Fiji Women’s Economic Empowerment Action Plan 2025–2030.

The Fiji Women’s Economic Empowerment Action Plan focuses on actions and strategies to improve women’s access to and benefit from economic opportunities.

It is structured around four interconnected pillars, each supported by targeted strategies and key actions such as inclusive employment and skills development to empower women in the workforce, business and entrepreneurship support for women-led enterprises, financial inclusion and resilience to improve women’s access to financial services and health and well-being initiatives to advance women’s overall quality of life.

The Ministry of Women, Children, and Social Protection will lead and coordinate the implementation of the plan's strategies and actions.
