Quick action has been taken to fix the water pressure issue at the CWM Hospital East Wing, and the fault was a Diaphragm Valve which was causing the low pressure.
The Ministry of Health says it is believed that that the diaphragm situated below the CWM Hospital auditorium was stuck within the valve, stopping water flow into the hospital piping system.
A 30,000 litre water tank has been filled to capacity, and is on standby in case the water pressure drops again.
This is the first time the hospital has experienced this problem.
The valve was installed by the Japanese contractors when the East Wing was built in 1994.
Earlier this week, surgeries, dialysis and laboratory tests were delayed due to the water pressure issues.
