Communications Fiji Limited, the parent company for Legend FM, FM 96, Viti FM, Radio Sargam and Navtarang continues to stamp its mark in the media industry in Fiji and Papua New Guinea.
This after it announced today a record profit of $864,220 for last year.
Managing Director William Parkinson said CFL enjoyed a strong 2008 showing good growth and achieving a 96% profit growth compared to 2007.
In Papua New Guinea, growth has also been strong with revenue increasing by 11%.
According to Parkinson, achieving this kind of result was not easy especially in a tough year like 2008.
The CFL board has also announced a final dividend payment of four cents for the year bringing total dividends for 2008 to eight cents per share.
