From their first commercial flight taking off from Nausori on September 1st, 1951, bound for Drasa near Lautoka, to now operating a fleet of 23 aircraft and directly connecting Fiji to 37 destinations across 14 countries - that is the story of Fiji Airways as they celebrate their 75th anniversary today.
As part of the celebration, Fiji Airways has launched an eight-day anniversary sale with special fares across its international network.
The anniversary sale runs from today until next Tuesday and covers destinations across Australia, New Zealand, the United States, Canada, Asia, Fiji, Samoa and Tonga.
Fiji Airways says the first three days of the promotion will feature its sharpest fares, followed by five days of special anniversary fares.
The promotional fares are available for travel from today to August 15th, 2027, although travel periods will vary depending on the market.
They say the promotion is available on selected flights and dates, with limited seats available at the promotional fares.
Customers are being encouraged to book early through the Fiji Airways website, sales offices, its 24/7 Reservations Call Centre or participating travel agents.
Peak-season travel restrictions and other conditions apply.
Through its oneworld membership, the airline says passengers can connect to more than 900 destinations worldwide.
