FIJI Water Flying Fijians Coach Mick Byrne says the pressure of playing in Twickenham can either excite or unsettle new players, but the team is choosing to channel that pressure into positive energy.
Speaking from London, Byrne says the team has been focusing on turning nerves into excitement, reminding the players that such moments are what international rugby is all about.
He adds that the newer players need to step up and express themselves more on the field, as they are naturally talented and possess strong rugby intelligence.
Byrne also notes that while many of them are humble and reserved, their growing confidence and contributions during team meetings have been encouraging.
Fiji will face England at 5.40am this Sunday.
