A bus driver has passed away after allegedly being assaulted by three men at the Nausori Bus Stand.
The alleged incident occurred on the 3rd of this month.
The bus driver suffered severe injuries and later passed away in the hospital.
The three men were initially charged with a count each of act with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and are currently in remand.
Police are now awaiting the post mortem report before determining the next course of action.
Eyewitnesses have told fijivillage that the three men were not happy with the bus driver’s manner of driving at the bus stand.
