Police are currently conducting their investigation after an empty bullet shell casing was found on a Fiji Airways flight that arrived in Nadi from Sydney last evening.
Police say the casing was discovered in one of the overhead compartments of the plane where passengers store their luggage.
They say it is illegal to carry firearms, bullets, or firearm parts—including magazines, clips, bolts, and firing pins—on a plane.
