Bulitavu has shown courage and integrity – Kumar

Minister for Housing Premila Kumar says the Opposition has acted recklessly to poison the minds of our landowners regarding the Bill to amend the iTaukei Land Trust Act.

Kumar says she thanks SODELPA MP Mosese Bulitavu for his support for the National Budget and especially Bill 17.

She says Bulitavu has shown courage, integrity and rose above race and politics.

While responding to the 2021-2022 National Budget address, Kumar says on one hand the Opposition criticizes the Government for borrowing, yet in the same breath they want them to give out assistance beyond a sustainable capacity.

The Minister says the Opposition’s mode of operation has been to criticize everything without any options or credible alternatives.
