Bula Boys through to Nations Cup semi final after thrashing Samoa 9-1

The Digicel Bula Boys are through to the semi final of the OFC Men’s Nations Cup after thrashing Samoa 9-1 at the HFC Bank Stadium tonight.

The Bula Boys started strong as the man of the match, Setareki Hughes put them on the scoreboard just 2 minutes into the game.

Thomas Dunn scored Fiji's second goal while captain Roy Krishna scored from a penalty kick just before half time.

Krishna scored his second goal through a penalty while substitute Etonia Dogalau scored twice and Filipe Baravilala and Nabil Begg scored a goal each in the second half.

Luke Salisbury netted Samoa's only goal.

Fiji now take on Tahiti at 7pm this Saturday at the HFC Bank Stadium.
