Bua claims U14 Primary School IDC Girls title after edging Labasa 2-1

Bua has claimed the U14 Girls title of the 2024 Primary School Inter District Championship after edging Labasa 2-1 in a penalty shootout at Subrail Park in Labasa this afternoon.

Bua President, Kishor Lal says Bua has lifted the trophy after 30 years and he is proud of the girls’ performance after a good preparation against defending champions, Ba, in the semi final and the host in the final.

Lal further says the team came in as underdogs in the tournament but had a great game plan for the tournament.

He adds its a moment of celebration for the people back at home.

Meanwhile, Labasa is currently playing Nadi in the U14 Boys Division.
