As the curtains fall in the Northern Division for the Coca-Cola Bua Zone, history has been created as Bua Central College has won the Zone meet in Vanua Levu with 24 golds, 19 silver and 27 bronze.

In second place Immaculate 24 gold, 17 silver, 18 bronze while Ratu Luke School secured third place with 21 gold,20 silver and 16 bronze.

School Head of PEMAC Viliame Tuivulagi acknowledged his support team and management for looking after the athletes well and ensuring their welfare.

Tuivulagi says he is proud of the schools achievement and he gives back the honour and glory to God.

He says the sacrifice of students and athletes during the build up has paid off and with the limited resources in terms of facilities at there disposal they will train the team well so than can produce similar results during the Coca-Cola games this year.

Tuivulagi reiterates the presence of students during training speaks for itself as students train hard to earn a spot to the Coke games.

This is not the first time the school has made the headline in sports as they have also made it to the qualifiers in rugby as well over the past few years.
