The organizers of the Fiji Indigenous Business Council Workshop that will be held at the Harbour Point Convention Centre in Suvavou, Lami, at the end of this month received a timely boost after Bred Bank donated $10,000 towards the event.

Bred Bank CEO Thierry Charras-Gillot says they are privileged to have the opportunity to be the platinum sponsors of the workshop as they see a lot of potential within the indigenous business community.

He says this sponsorship aligns with their corporation's responsibility goal, and they are committed to social and economic inclusion.

He adds their strategy of banking with a distance is focused on maintaining close relationships with their customers through dedicated relationships and their staff are trained to support them in all the projects offering the best of both face-to-face and digital services.

Fiji Indigenous Business Council Chair Ulai Taoi says they are so glad that Bred Bank has accepted their request for sponsorship.

He says the workshop at the end of this month will be an occasion where indigenous businesses will get together and discuss how to move forward.

The Fiji Indigenous Business Council Workshop will be held from the 29th to the 30th of this month.
