Fijian sprinter, Braelynn Yee, recipient of the Oceania Athletics and Academics Scholarship at Griffith University, has been awarded the Griffith Asia Business Internship 2025.

Athletics Fiji says Braelynn, who is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Business at Griffith University, Gold Coast, earned this distinguished opportunity in recognition of her outstanding academic performance and commitment to excellence both on and off the field.

Through this program, Braelynn will undertake a six-week internship in Seoul, South Korea, from this month.

She will remain enrolled full-time at Griffith University and receive the equivalent of full-time academic credit upon successful completion of the internship.

In addition to her academic commitments, Braelynn will continue to follow a structured athletics training program prepared by her coach, ensuring she maintains her athletic development throughout her stay in Seoul.

She has already identified nearby training facilities and plans to commence training shortly after arrival.

Braelynn’s family has extended sincere gratitude to Yvonne Mullins, Oceania Athletics, the Australia Foundation, and Griffith University for their continued support of this scholarship initiative.
