In a major setback for Hera Pheri fans, veteran actor Paresh Rawal has confirmed his exit from the third instalment of the iconic franchise.

The Times of India says the actor confirmed his departure to Bollywood Hungama, and a source revealed that Rawal stepped away due to creative differences with the makers.

Rawal’s portrayal of Baburao Ganpatrao Apte — better known as Babu Bhaiya — has become legendary in Indian cinema.

His quirky mannerisms and iconic one-liners have made him a fan favourite.

The news has left fans heartbroken, especially after Akshay Kumar recently rejoined the project, with many hoping that Rawal, like Akshay, might return to the film.
