Police are currently investigating the matter where a man’s body was found lying motionless with visible injuries on the driveway of a motel in Suva yesterday morning.
Police say the man who was in his 20’s had accompanied some friends to the motel when they were allegedly confronted by another group of men who were blocking the driveway after which a fight broke out.
They say he was allegedly struck with a metal object and he fell to the ground and became unconscious.
They say he was taken to the CWM Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
Investigations continue.
