Bob Marley Special next weekend on LegendFM

As the legendary reggae artist, Bob Marley celebrates his 79th birthday today, LegendFM is putting together a Bob Marley Special next weekend.

LegendFM Content Director, Victoria Vollmer says the Bob Marley special will be from 8am to 8pm on Saturday and Sunday.

Vollmer who was head over heels for this special Marley tribute says they will be playing Bob Marley songs and talking more about his life as well.

She adds the Bob Marley Weekend Special is something that people should look forward to as it coincides with the One Love Bob Marley movie that will be dropping next Wednesday on Valentine’s Day.

Vollmer says they have a competition running as well where people can win movie tickets for the One Love movie.

She says all you have to do is answer the trivia questions about Marley’s life and if you answer it right, and your name is drawn, you win a ticket to watch the movie.

When questioned on the impact Bob Marley’s music has on the lives of people, Vollmer says this is one artist that gives you comfort in all aspects of your life.

She says they have a total of 40 tickets to give away for the Bob Marley One Love movie, with the first batch of tickets being given away this week.
