Blues lose All Blacks pair to injury

Blues fullback Stephen Perofeta faces an uphill battle to earn All Blacks selection for the Rugby World Cup after suffering another "significant" shoulder injury.

Perofeta picked up the knock in the first half of their Super Rugby Pacific win over the NSW Waratahs at Eden Park.

Alongside prop Nepo Laulala, the Blues will be sweating on the pair's fitness as the side push for a home playoff spot.

The Blues will play the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua at 2.05pm Saturday in Lautoka.
