Black Ferns to meet France in Women’s Rugby World Cup semi-final

Defending Women’s Rugby World Cup champions, the Black Ferns are through to the semi-finals after demolishing Wales 55-3 in the quarter-final.

The Black Ferns were in a rampant mood and ran in nine tries in front of their adoring fans.

Wales battled hard but could only manage a Keira Bevan penalty.

The Black Ferns will face France in the semi-finals at 6.30 pm next Saturday at Eden Park.

In another quarter-final result, France thumped Italy 39-3.

Meanwhile, England will meet Australia at 12.30pm today and Canada will play USA at 3.30 this afternoon.
