Being a drug and alcohol addict for 16 years jeopardized the life and family of 28-year-old Josefa Bitu and left it in bad shape.
Bitu, who found hope, healing, and purpose through the Adult and Teen Challenge Fiji’s drug recovery and rehabilitation program shared his journey of how he was determined to turn his life around.
He says he is determined to graduate and become a living testimony of change.
Bitu shares that he started taking drugs because of peer pressure at the age of 12 years and sells them too.
He says his wife hated him and told him not to see his children and he left his family at home sometimes to live on the streets.
Bitu says he found happiness and peace as he began his recovery and rehabilitation journey.
Bitu highlighted when he started the program, everyone was nice to him at the rehabilitation program.
He says that his family sees him differently now and has accepted him.
Bitu calls out to everyone to remember there is hope and God still love and has a purpose for everyone.
