Residents of Belego Savusavu believe they will get over these hard times and will have a normal life again.

74-year-old Julian Whippy says Tropical Cyclone Yasa is the worst cyclone he has experienced.

Whippy says they are also grateful for the assistance that has been provided to them by the government.

Another resident, Avi Ram says almost 16 homes have been destroyed by TC Yasa and the rest of the homes sustained damages.

Ram says all their crops were also damaged.

Attorney-General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum, together with other officials delivered relief supplies to the families in Belego.
