Sky Sport brought fans something new on the weekend with the 'Sky Sport Player Cam' which kept an eye on playmaker Beauden Barrett throughout the duration of the Blues v Hurricanes clash.

Sky Sport, the TV Channel that is broadcasting the new New Zealand domestic competition, Super Rugby Aotearoa has brought fans something new with the use of “Sky Sport Player Cam”.

The Sky Sport Player Cam will bring fans a whole new perspective of the game which keeps an eye on a player throughout the match.

Last week, it was Blues fullback and debutante Beauden Barrett where the camera caught some of the hilarious moments of Barrett’s first game for the Blues.

The camera also caught some of the angles that were not caught by a regular camera including the where he shoved his old team mate Dane Coles.

The Sky Sport Player Cam has been made available on Sky Sport channel 50 where it will follow one player for the duration of the match.

In Round 2 of competition, the Chiefs will take on the Blues at 7.05pm Saturday while the Hurricanes will face the Crusaders at 3.35pm Sunday.
