Swire Shipping Fijian Drua halfback, Philip Baselala

Swire Shipping Fijian Drua coach Glen Jackson has described halfback Philip Baselala as a talented young man and they will have to manage him well while he is still with the club.

After making a huge impact when he came on in the 54th minute against the Reds in the Drua’s 33-36 win over the Reds last weekend, Baselala received high praises from Jackson during the post-match interview.

Jackson says the 20-year-old has got a golden touch and they have got to look after him.

Jackson also highlighted the impact young Isikeli Rabitu made when he came on for the Drua and ended up scoring tries.

He described Rabitu as a golden boy and they tried to last as long as they could when they had him on the field, and it was great that he scored the winning try against the Reds.

Meanwhile, the Drua now turns their focus to the Blues, whom they will be hosting for the first time at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.

The Drua will take on the Blues at 7.05pm this Friday.

In other matches this week, the Waratahs will play the Reds at 9.35pm Friday, the Crusaders will take on the Chiefs at 7.05pm Saturday and the Force will host the Brumbies at 9.35pm Saturday.
