Blending All Blacks returning from injuries while ensuring under-used squad members had a chance for game time would be central to selections for Saturday's second Rugby Championship Test against Argentina in Brisbane.

All Blacks assistant coach John Plumtree said hooker Codie Taylor, props Ethan de Groot and Ofa Tuungafasi, lock Patrick Tuipulotu and loose forward Ardie Savea should all be in the mix while prop, Joe Moody, who came off the bench for his first game of the campaign on Sunday, would need more time also.

Plumtree was happy with Moody's effort but concerned about some of the scrum rulings against the All Blacks in the last quarter which they would be getting feedback from the referees about why they were being penalised and what they need to do. The assistant coach felt there were many positives in the performance last Sunday, especially the amount of pressure they built through their continuity play.

He says they had to make sure they were well-disciplined that they didn't get frustrated when they couldn't score every time they got possession.

The All Blacks will face Argentina at 10.05pm Saturday while the Wallabies meet the South Africa at 7.05pm Saturday.
