Minister for Youth and Sports, Parveen Bala has urged the youths to abide by the COVID-19 related restrictions that are in place including the curfew hours.

While speaking at the Empowerment Certificate Presentation Program in Vatukoula, Bala says that he does not want to see youths being charged for breaching curfew restrictions.

Bala further says COVID-19 has affected many and is a risk for everyone.

The Minister further adds that we as resilient Fijians have got away from many disasters in the past and has challenged the youths to turn the risk into opportunities.

Bala says COVID-19 has changed the way we were living before and we will have to adjust ourselves in life and do things differently.
