People’s Alliance Leader Sitiveni Rabuka

People’s Alliance Leader Sitiveni Rabuka says FijiFirst Party Leader Voreqe Bainimarama and General Secretary Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum are undermining USP by refusing to pay the grant that Fiji owes.

While speaking at a rally in Labasa, Rabuka says Sayed-Khaiyum supported by Bainimarama is waging a war against USP over claims of mismanagement.

He says our USP partner countries reject those claims.

Rabuka further says when they do not pay the grant it not only affects USP but the South Pacific and its young people.

The People’s Alliance has stated that it will commence payment of USP grant when they form the next government.

The outstanding Fijian government grants to USP totals more than $80 million.
